Paphos, Cyprus December 2021

A little winter getaway to Paphos Cyprus was well needed after the busy year. It was my first time on this side of the island, previously stayed in Ayia Napa area 7 years prior. I managed to check out a lot of the spots that this side of the island had to offer. Sunset Point, The harbour, Tomb of the Kings, Aproditie’s Rock, The Sea Caves And Edro III. The weather was lovely for the most part. 18-21 degrees most of the time, but there was one day of torrential rain and a storm, but what do you expect for weather in December. All in all, it was a lovely week, got the recharge my partner and I needed from a busy work season. A few surprises with PCR testings after we landed, 2 days prior and when we got home, but it is what it is. There were a few spot’s we’d like to have checked out like, Adonis falls and the Templar village, but sadly as we didn’t have a 4WD, this was not possible on this visit. For someone who would leave the country every other month for most work, being grounded in the UK for nearly 2 years definitely made me appreciate my travels a lot more. This trip was well needed. I look forward to sharing more trips now that the world is getting back to normal. Enjoy the photos below.
