Laura & Ansu

I first met Laura and Ansu in May for their engagement shoot at Virginia Waters. Getting to know each other while on the shoot, to find out their big Marvel fans. Love finding common interests with couples and to find out that there were little marvel touches at their wedding. Having to stop the conversation, as I hadn’t seen the latest film in the franchise Avengers: End Game. I know terrible Marvel fan I am for not seeing it. They smashed their shoot and they felt a lot better in front of the camera for it.

Fast forward to early August 2019, the weather had been a little unforgiving the few days prior so I was praying for it to hold. Luckily throughout the day we only had passing light showers. The ceremony was in Purely at St Mary’s Church. A great size church and the couple chose new age church music similar to Hill Song. Was a nice change from your usual church choir and hymn feel. The excitement in Ansu’s eyes as Laura walked down the aisle and they first looked at each other was amazing.

The reception was held at The Old Mill, which is such a lovely venue, the building from the outside, the flowing water, the lovely garden areas and green land out back. All makes for a great venue and they have a lovely team too. The sun did its best to stay luckily. Garden games, reception drinks with smiles all round. Joe, my second shooter for the day, and myself had a great time.
